B/Z Motorsports was founded in 1971 by the Zoeller family from Washington, IN. During the early years sprint karts were campaigned at street circuits throughout Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky and Tennessee. Sprint tracks covering the eastern half of the United States were run under the sanction of the International Kart Federation and later under the World Karting Association. In 1973 the team ventured into endurance road racing with laydown style karts. These races were run at every major racing facility in US. The team also participated in the first kart race held at he Daytona International Speedway. Over the years the team has raced at most major speedways in the United States. While karts were the main focus the team also ventured into SCCA racing with a Formula Ford. This project was very sucessful in the 90's producing victories over 50% of the time. The mid 1990's were the most sucessful with Brad winning 2 World Championships and Amanda getting her first victory in a sprint kart.
